Gas supply to industries suspended to avoid Biparjoy losses

As per the instructions of the federal government, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Limited on Wednesday suspended gas supply to all industries including its power generation units, fertilizer sector and CNG stations. In a statement, The SSGC said the decision was taken in the backdrop of a possible onslaught of Cyclone Buparjoy and keeping in mind the shortage of natural gas and degasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG).
