Dutch club prisoner show closes calmly with capture of suspect

A prisoner show at a dance club in the eastern Netherlands finished calmly following a few hours on Saturday with the capture of a suspect - a man wearing a balaclava cover who left the structure and gave up to police.

"The last prisoner has quite recently been delivered. One individual has been captured," a police explanation said. "We can't share more data as of now."

A few groups, including representatives, had been kidnapped at the Bistro Slip in the town of Ede from the beginning of Saturday morning. The intention was indistinct.

Authorities said at a news instructions that the suspect, who was recently known to police, had undermined the prisoners with blades. There was no sign of a psychological militant intention, police have said.

The suspect left the club, put his hands behind his head, and got to his knees before being bound by police, a Reuters video writer at the scene said.

Police explosives units had been conveyed to the structure in the town place. Roads in the space had been emptied and preparations dropped to the town, almost 80 km (50 miles) from Amsterdam.
