Vanderbilt entered the game unranked

Nobody is having a preferable night in Nashville over the goal line from Saturday's Vanderbilt-Alabama game.

Fans destroyed the goal lines inside First Bank Arena after the unranked Commodores brought down No. 1 Alabama, 40-35.

Some way or another, fans got the post outside the arena, and it turned into the night celebrity.

One fan even went on an outing on top of the goal line while it was leaving the arena.

The goal line made the excursion from the arena right down Broadway.

Later on, it took a plunge in the Cumberland Stream.

It's not whenever Tennesseans first commended a success over Alabama by taking the goal line for a wild ride. Volunteer fans did likewise quite a while back, when, at that point, No. 6 Tennessee crushed No. 3 Alabama.
