Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson has created a wave of excitement among fans with his recent appearance in the end credit scene of Fast X, fueling anticipation for the next installment of the immensely popular franchise.
In a video shared on Thursday, the Jumanji actor confirmed that he will be reprising his role as Luke Hobbs in the upcoming untitled Fast and Furious film. Taking to Twitter, he expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming reactions from fans around the world to Hobbs' return in Fast X. He revealed that the next film in the series will showcase the legendary lawman and that the Hobbs movie will serve as a fresh chapter, setting the stage for FASTX: Part II.
Johnson emphasized the importance of unity, brotherhood, and taking care of the franchise, its characters, and the fans that they deeply cherish. As always, he expressed his commitment to putting the audience first and congratulated his Fast Family and Universal Studios for the global success of FAST X. He also expressed his motivation, along with his production company Seven Bucks Productions, to take the Fast franchise to new and exciting places for fans worldwide, signing off with his iconic phrase, "Daddy's gotta go to work."
Directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X, the tenth film in the
blockbuster franchise, was released on May 19 and received an overwhelming
response from fans. The movie featured a star-studded cast including Vin
Diesel, Jason Momoa, Jason Statham, John Cena, Brie Larson, Jordana Brewster,
Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Daniela Melchior,
