ChatGPT, the famous AI chatbot, is back online. A global blackout on Thursday had left many users unable to access it. The outage, which started before 7 pm ET (5:30 am IST), affected ChatGPT, OpenAI's API, and Sora admins. OpenAI indicated that it reestablished services around 8 am IST.
Clients trying to sign in
during the blackout saw, "ChatGPT is currently unavailable." OpenAI
updated X (Twitter). It said, "We have identified the issue and are
attempting to fix it." Before sunup, the stage confirmed that services
were normal again.
Blackout triggers disappointment and images.
The margin time harmed both
free and paid clients, prompting inescapable disappointment. Many clients use
virtual entertainment to vent. Some shared images of the interruption.
"ChatGPT is down. Right now, I need to research as if I were a Stone Age
man," one client kidded. One more stated, "A great deal of students
won't have the option to do their expositions now."
Consecutive disturbances
The disturbance happened
after a global outage of Meta's apps, like WhatsApp and Instagram, on
Wednesday. This caused trouble for a large number of social media users.
Through X, OpenAI conveyed
an update: "We're encountering a blackout at present. We have
distinguished the issue and are attempting to carry out a fix. Sorry, and we'll
keep you updated!"
