Daily Times: Amid the political tug-of-war in Afghanistan, the Taliban government has banned women from working in television dramas in Afghanistan following new laws issued by the government.
Meanwhile, female journalists have also been instructed to wear headscarves on screen but did not say what type of cover to use.
The new set of Taliban instructions, which have been released to Afghan television channels, includes eight new rules. The report added that these include bans on films that are considered against Sharia law or Islamic law and Afghan values, while footage showing intimate parts of men's bodies is prohibited.

It is also haraam to be considered offensive to religion or Afghans.
The Taliban has also said that foreign films promoting foreign cultural values should not be aired because Afghan television channels mostly show foreign dramas with female characters.
Hujjatullah Mujaddidi, a member of an organization representing journalists in Afghanistan, said he did not expect new sanctions to be announced.
He told the BBC that some laws were not in place and that if they were implemented, broadcasters could be forced to shut down.
Earlier, the Taliban decided to order girls and young women to stay home from school, making Afghanistan the only country in the world to prevent half of its population from getting an education.
